 A prayer shawl is a very special gift.  I offer them here for those who do not knit or crochet, but want to give one to a special friend or family member.  The intended recipient is prayed for as the shawl is created. 

 This is a perfect gift for a bride, new mother, new baby, a person in mourning, a newly divorced person, a military wife whose husband is deployed, etc.  I'm sure everyone knows someone who would welcome the comfort of this special gift. 

 You may supply any information about the recipient you would like me to know so I can pray specifically for their needs as I knit their prayer shawl.  Once you receive the shawl, you may also want to hold it and pray for the recipient before presenting it to her or him.

This prayer shawl is knit of 100% high bulk acrylic yarns and is machine wash and dry.  Liquid fabric softener is recommended for maximum softness.  What a unique gift the lucky recipient will treasure always!

A Bridal Shawl is also a very special item.  Similar to the Prayer Shawl, it is made with the bride in mind and blessed and prayed over as it is constructed.  The Bride's Shawl is made with a dressy yarn as it is meant to be used as a wrap over her wedding gown on her special day.  Just the right covering when going from home to church and from church to reception hall.

"Christina" was knit from a synthetic blend dress yarn.  Machine wash, warm.  Tumble dry on low.  Remove promptly.  Lightly touch up with a steam iron if needed.  Or have it professionally dry cleaned.

A Custom Bridal Shawl just completed for Katie's Oct. 1, 2006 wedding.  Approximately 23" x 84" including fringe, yet "Katie" weighs just 4 ounces.
